i am also curious to this too , There is currently Comp 280's In my car , Wich i know is a very aggressive cam , and has a lot of top end , but i dont plan on ever going with a 30r/35r Big turbo setup So was thinking of Swaping Out to BC 272's , Would it be worth it?

I have ran the 280's he has and loved them. Kinda hit or miss on the idle. My car next to another Evo with GSC S1's- I could convince a buncha honda guys it was factory cams. Now there is a clip or two of an Evo with the same 280's and it sounds sick as hell. Performance was beautiful. They pull for ever. 8500-9000 with no prob

I have 272's on my 03, I made 334/330 on 93 at 0/0 cam timing. They're pretty similar to HKS but seem to make slightly nicer curves on the dyno.

Obviously YMMV.

Look at my post above.

334-330 on Dynojet with pretty similar mods (without the 10.5).

On factory springs do not go more than factory RPM limit. Cams maybe able to do it, but not the springs.

I love these cams! Especially for the price. I would recommend springs, retainers, and head studs as safety but not 100% needed. I have all the brian crower stuff in stock and arp head studs. If interested just shoot me a pm.

I have the 272's. I run 8000 rpm with the stock spring/retainers, and no head studs. I don't hit 8000 very often though. It's set at 8000 to give me some room to rev when needed autox'ing.
They are great cams. I had mine dyno tuned at Buschur. He was very impressed with the power, and the nice idle my car has with the bigger injectors and 272's. I made 305awhp on Buschurs low reading dyno with a safe low 20.5psi tune for road course racing.
