Lately I have been having a clunking/popping noise coming from my driver side front tire area when going over bumps or dip, at low speeds, and now sometimes while turning.
When it stared it would only happen every so often when going over a bump. The frequency has since increased. It now happens over almost every bump and has done it a few times while turning.
The best way to describe it is hallow thump or kind of like something is catching and them popping lose.
I have felt around and nothing feel loose or looks out of the ordinary.
Any ideas on what to check or possible sources of the problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I know this thread is super old, but i have the same issue... Best described as a clunking sound almost like a plastic on plastic contact, and only at barely moving speeds, wheel cut to the left. had the car in the air over the weekend and found nothing at least no obvious looseness and my car does not rub the fender liner. Any help is appreciated.
