I've started to notice more pop, clunk and creaky sounds coming (I guess?) out of my suspension, especially when I go to back out of my driveway.

My driveway is very potholey and I back out going up hill.

Should I be worried about this? For a while, I only noticed a pop when I turned while backing out, but I think that's gone away and now I hear more clunking sounds coming from the back of the car.

Most of the "roads" (ha!) here are pretty potholed and nasty, too. The car only has 40K miles on it, but it's noticeably noisier than it used to be going over bumps.

 

Yeah, I got some clunkin going on too, just when I go from reverse to 1st gear, I'm thinking mines a clutch/transmission issue

 

Mine's definitely not a gearbox issue. It's when it's already in reverse, backing up.

 

hmm i got the same issue.. i just installed fortune auto coilovers.. i think it could be either the bracing hitting against the downpipe or maybe the brackets they sent me with the coilovers.. ima check it out.. it only sounds like that when im dead stopped and slowly starting to roll.. its like a raddle vibration

 

Maybe ur engine or tranny mounts are shot n the exhaust is hitting the undercarriage. I have 50k miles n i changed my mounts twice.
