Car throwing 335 & 340 codes all of sudden
Throws these codes and sputters (i mean BAD misfires - its pretty loud)/loses power - has died twice and taken several restarts. Done this twice in the last week. It will also jerk and slow down while cruising on the highway - drops about 400-500 rpm, sometimes itll waver down and then back up 1k, then die if I dont catch it.
78k miles.
Which sensor could it be? Cam or crank shaft ?

Do not try to start the car again. Leave it the way it is right now. Sounds like the timing belt. Same thing happened to my '91 Eclipse, ended up bending 12 of the 16 valves.
To check it:
Remove all spark plugs
Remove cam gear cover
Remove front passenger side tire
Rotate crank by hand to line up timing marks and see if they are off
If you follow the link on how to install cams it has pictures on how to line up all the timing marks.
Here is the link.

I had to start it. Drove to work fine this morning. On the way home it started acting up again.
Threw 102 & 107 codes (maf/map sensor low voltage) so i pushed on the connector for the maf some more and those went away.
Now at about 4500 -5k it stutters and acts like crap again. I am going to remove the Xede tommorow and see if that helps it. Ill check the timing again before doing this as well.
