Clutch is almost gone.. Need help finding a new one!!! PLEASEE!!

I have an '05 MR w/25k on the car.. and my clutch is slipping and burning bad right now... so I need to upgrade.

I daily drive my car approximently 80 miles a day ( college and back )... and I would like a stock clutch feel but something that is stronger than stock..

People have suggested the heavy duty exedy twin disk.. but it is expensive and might be too much for my current mods and future plans...

here is a list of mods: ams fmic, gsc 264/272 cams, injen hard pipe to turbo, injen uicp, injen cone filter, rmr licp w/pipe up to turbo, megan 02 housing, forge rs bov, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and buschur full 3" turbo back exhaust.. and tuned at stock boost for 93octane by dynoflash.

The only possible future mods would be an IX turbo or a 50 trim turbo kit .. and of course a mbc.

I do not track the car or anything like that.. just get on it frequently around town.

Please help me out!!!! and include a link with a good price on the clutch if you know one!

THANKS!!!!!!!

I would recommend using a fresh stock pp with an act sprung 6 puck. Stock pedal feel and holds the power. I have that on my car and I drag it on a regular basis and it holds great! not only that its cheap to do

The part you show in the link has a street/organic disc and is part number MB7-HDSS. The one TTP is talking about is MB7-HDG6 and it has a 6 puck disc with springs in hub, hence the term sprung hub.

We have tested Fidanza clutches and they have failed on us in testing. Cerametallic disc material crumbles off. They are best served sticking to camgears and flywheels.

The ACT HDSS or cerametallic sprung hub is the way to go in your price range and performance goals.

I have an Exedy(cusco) twin plate practically new for sale in my sig. I loved the clutch. Smooth as hell and holds power. And Z1auto.com offers rebuild kits down the road if you ever need one.

Get a Exedy Stage 1 its your best bet for driving back and forth and having a little fun! My first clutch slipped so bad the flywheel was blue (at one point is was glowing red for it to turn blue) and i got a exedy stage 1 and i never looked back! Get a new flywheel while you are at it! I drive 500 miles a week! I have to change oil every 6 weeks

If you don't drag race, forget all about twin disks (expensive) and single disks with metallic sinter material (lousy driveability) and sinter in general has low durability. Go for an Exedy (or similar) pressure plate and an organic disk and in your case a new flywheel will most probably be necessary if your current clutch has slipped a lot. I used this combination with a stock disk and flywheel on my EVO7 with a 3071 turbo at 21-29psi around 450hp and it held up much longer than I ever thought it would. I then changed to an Exedy twin but that sounds like overkill for your needs.
