Roger that. I'm googling now to see what the model line-up is like, and whether i can get it shipped over. How does this compare with the HKS GD Pro/Max, OS Giken Twin Carbon, etc?

I'm asking because I've not heard much about these on this forum, but in the JDM forums, they are what is pretty much de rigeur, and I can't find any hard data that comparing clutches.

Tilton... I *have* heard a lot of good reviews from people who road race and autcross, so...

act hdss or ceramatalic 6 puck sprung hub it is not advised to put an unsprung hub in an all wheel drive car ever. there is no need for a tilton to circuit/drag racing the act will hold up just fine and is in the price range he is looking for.

I dont' know if its the clutch or what but I have the HDSS ACT and ever since being installed I get some grind going into 5th on my gsr. I have at the time of install put in royal purple tranny fluid. So be mindful of a possible issue. I still want to swap to syncromesh or oem and see if that helps, just haven't had a chance.

Its not the clutch. My trans used to grind a little going into 5th and changing the transmission fluid solved it permanently. No grind for over 25k miles now.

I would recommend ACT for a clutch almost for anything they have a good selection and they are not that expensive but a good site is http://www.carolinaclutch.com/ and http://www.maperformance.com/store/home.php both have good prices and free shipping and you can always go to http://www.advancedclutch.com/ to figure out what clutch and flywheel setup is for you good luck buddy

I just went through this whole process with days of searching and trying to find the perfect clutch.

I ended up with the Exedy SD Twin disk. Stock peddle pressure.

You'll never regret it. You can do all the same searches I did and you will find pros and cons on all but the only con you will find on the Exedy is its price. The others you will find people talking about lockout and everything else.

I can only compare this to the stock clutch but I wanted to do it right the first time and all the information I found pointed me this way.

Thats my 2 cents.
