cam install

im putting in hks 280's this weekend and was wondering do you need a tune. I know you need a tune to get the most power. But was wondering if you can drive the car prior to getting it on a dyno.

any other tips on install are welcome.

I drove mine for a week without a tune but I babied it that whole time. I never went past 10 psi

if you put them in it is fine to drive it, just stay off the boost. I currently need a tune as well after the cam install I try not to go more than 2lb of boost. Riding sucks but you can move around, going uphill is the hardest part

I got mine from AMS. Its half the price of the dealer and worth it in the long run. You will need it in the future anyways when you change the timing belt
