Change your spark plugs and have the codes cleared. I just fixed that exact problem this week.

Make sure to only change them to stock or the ngk bpr8es

These codes appear when the car stalls out. I have had it happen to me and just cleared the codes and they never came back.

Hmm, not sure how spark plugs would generate a cam/crank sensor problem. 818, your sig shows no aftermarket cams - have you done anything in this area? I would pop the upper timing cover off and check your timing marks.

Neither was I, but i was also having misfire problems. Change the plugs and all problems/codes went away.

Ah, I see with the misfire. Still unsure how the crank/cam circuit codes get thrown with this.
Good to know though.

I also got that first code while starting the car when it was cold in the morning. Seemed to happen only when the car was first warming up. Ive just cleared them with my OBD2. Hasnt happend since.

Wouldn't it seem like a misfire code would be thrown as well? I wonder if anyone has broken into the logic of the P0335/P0340 code...

You obviously have an electrical problem. Any work done before it started acting up?
Maybe a chaffed wire on the CrkAS or CamAS.
A loose connector, Bad sensors.
It could be anything.
Electrical problems are very hard to figure out, let alone over the internet.

If you already looked for the obvious...connectors, wires ect...I think it's time you let an expert take over. Drop it off the dealer get a loaner car from them and go to work.
It all comes down to "Pay now or pay later".

When I was throwing those codes (both P0335 and P0340), I found out my crank angle sensor was cracked. Hard to check as you have to have the lower timing cover off...but it looked like this:
