please help evo 8 wont start
had a intercooler clamp rub my maf sensor connector wires until they were bare and engine started to cut out after spooling up apprx. 15 pounds of boost changed plugs thinking this was it then discovered the connector harness at maf rewired it double and triple checked the order to ensure wired correctly car hasn started since began to throw codes p0335 p0113 and p0108 replaced crank sensor no change checked all fuses none blown any help would be greatly appreciated
When you replaced the ckp sensor did the car start after that? Is the car cranking but not firing? Or not cranking at all?
If it cranks then you need 5 things for an engine to run. Compression, timing, fuel, air, and spark. Start by checking those. If you recently did the ckp sensor then it's most likely your timing may be off a little bit.
If it doesn't then check to make sure your start motor is getting ~12v, it is grounded properly, and with the key turned to crank the signal wire get around ~5v. If that all checks out the check the clutch switch beneath the clutch pedal. Unplug it and see if the car will crank.
p0335 is for the crank position sensor
p0113 is intake temp circuit high (wires probably shorted somewhere causing this code)
p0108 high input in maf sensor circuit
If you've rewired everything well clear the codes and see if it will start if it doesn't then it's something mechanical most likely. The p0335 code will prevent the car from starting.

i have erased codes multiple times and soon as i turn the key on not attempting to start it throws p0113 p0108 the p0335 doesnt throw till i rotate the motor but comes back everytime its driving me crazy i want my baby back lol
and after ckp sensor still never hit a lick but turns over with ease has no fire i know fuel im not sure about new walbro 255 just installed wouldn think i would have fuel pump issues the p0335 crank sensor circuit a malfunction is why im not starting just wish i knew where the malfunction was

Maybe when the wires were rubbed raw you blew another fuse? Start from the necessities and check them off.
Spark? coils, plugs?
Fuel? pump running, pressure at rail, injectors firing?
Compression? self expanatory
Timing? off?
air? Leaks, vacuum?

thanks for all the input... i have no spark at coil brand new plugs brand new fuel pump (which i havent checked yet) went through all fuses several times not sure about the black box in the fuse panel above driver front tire says ecu on it not sure what this is as i cant locate a repair manual anywherevacum system perfect no leaks just took maf sensor harness off rewired and not the first bit of fire since
You said no spark at the coil correct? If you have a local near by try swapping coil packs. Could be the Crank sensor as well. electrical problems are the worst. At least you know where your problem is though.
thats what i was thinking but im getting p0113 p0108 and p0335 im not getting the cam code which i heard sometimes it would still be that even with no code......i ttook the wiring harness loose and checke it all couldn find anything but at my fuse and relay box in the engine compartment there is like 2 seperate sections that clip together the section not covered by the fuse box lid has a piece broken off and i would like to see a picture of one if someone dont mind to see what should be there and also the black box in the engine compartment fuse panel that says front ecu i was told that is my mfi relay is there anyway to check this if not were could i find one at....if anybody knows anything else about this please point me in the right direction im just looking at other forums on here that are (not the same) but similar and trying random things PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
