SD help on evo 8

Hi All

I wonder if some one can help me, I'm trying to setup SD on the 260 rom (96530006 originally)? Although the 9652706 roms work fine with the car when I try and switch to the SD roms either the 9653706 and the 9651706 I get the following errors (below) each time I turn the ignition on, also I don't seem to get a temperature valve back. I have the MAP sensor wired into pin 73 and the MAT sensor plugged into the MAF connector (using the SpoolinUp harness). Any help would be appreciated.

I've attached the roms i'm using (on page 2 this post ), they all work and the car runs well with them all, if I clear the dtc's after the car is started with both the SD roms they don't come back, its only if i cycle the ignition.

Can anyone suggest what I need to do to get a temperature reading also?

Thanks
Andy

Diagnostic Codes:Oxygen Sensor
Intake temperature sensor
Throttle position sensor
ISC motor position sensor
Engine coolant temperature sensor
Crankshaft position sensor
Camshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Injector circuit
Fuel pump relay
EGR sensor

I will have to noodle on this for a bit but I would think some of it can be the periphery settings. the rest of it has to be something not entirely compatible. I dont know enough about the EDM cars to know if you can try the 94170015? We can use the EDM, I would surmise you might be able to go backwards and use the US?

thanks aaron, I've tried it so the bits are the same across the roms that work and the ones that through the errors but no joy. The car is a 260 which I think has the 96530006 rom in it as standard. The 94170715 roms are currently being fixed at the moment

Thanks
Andy

Hey And.

Add this table to your rom xml

PHP Code:
<table name="SD Option: IAT Input for MAT - Use 0x03, Fuel Temp ADC_0E for MAT - Use 0x0E" category="Speed Density Programming" address="a821" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex8"/>
Since your using the the stock MAF input leave it at 0x03 instead of phenem's defined 0x0E.

Might be a similar thing for the MAP sensor but I don't know it off hand sorry

Thats a pretty insane list of errors.

Did you play with the odbii completion patch? It should be defined in your xml already.

Double check your closed loop bit in FAA I believe.

I noticed a weirdness where the car would attempt a AFRMAP of 8 if the bit was set to full time open loop.
