Nitrous
There are other simple modifications that in total, cost around the same as a Nitrous kit which will also make major performance improvements.. However, consensus so far has been a small nitrous wet kit, 35-50 HP is fairly safe.. I would still strongly recommend against nitrous in favor of some sort of Fuel Management Computer, a Boost controller, and at least a cat-back exhaust. Your looking at more than enough found power to be competative with the new WRX STi.. And our cars stock are already a bit quicker than the current WRX.. Just remember, its not always about how much power, but how well you drive.. understanding your car, how to launch, how to drive it and shift it, will have a bigger performance effect than most mods.
well, plus other mods they have on their car, but it took them from low 12's to high 11's... you see what Im saying right?

ps- I am probably gonna do it sooner or later
