Redline lightweight shockproof in Rear diff

I know, I know, everyone says use the factory oils. I am going to use super Diaqueeen in the tranny and the reg LSD diaqueen in the TC, but I really would like to run something a bit more protective in the rear end. I have always used Redline heavy duty shockproof in the rear ends of my older pitsus with great success, but have always wondered about the lightweight shockproof. Since I live in colorado, the heavy duty stuff isnt reccomended for our temps 1/2 the year, so the lightweight might be better. anyone have any experience?

Been using Redline 75-90 in the rear. Works great. over 20 track events and 38,000 miles.

I have ran everything from royal purple to redline. I dont think it really makes a difference from stock. To me personally I know several shops local that people have used just about every maker. That said for track and or heavy use I also change mine every 30k or 10 oil changes. So if you are doing that I dont think it really matters that's my option.

its like asking whats the best oil for the motor. If you are changing every 3k no oil in that mileage is really going to shine above the others. Now if you go 10-30k just changing filter you have a discussion.

The rear differential is of such conventional design that I wouldn't be afraid to use most any oil designed for differentials found on the shelf at Walmart. The only problem you might get into is perhaps not enough friction modifier for the limited slip. This advice doesn't apply to the transfer case or transmission.
