Getting rid of lifter tick

K i'm sick of hearing my lifters lol Is there a way to get rid of the tick without installing new lifters?

use something thinner than oil.. lol

anyways nah theres nothin you can do.. thats a good fix.. just change the lifters.. dont drive the car for 1000 miles and the gas money you save you can buy them lol

i take it, by looking at your mods in your sig, that you have stock cams.

if that's the case, the only reason i could think of is a dead lifter. just replace it/them...it'll be better for you in the long run

from looking at the Mitsubishi dealer product/price list, each Rocker Arm Lash Adjuster (that's wut Mitsu calls it. but in english, it's a lifter) is about $50 per.

and then with installation........... heh, i wouldnt want to take a guess. it'd be better off if you have a friend who knows how to install them (quite easy actually).

so yeah bro, do the math and you'll be paying sum cash$$$$$ from the dealer. try to find a used but in good condition lifter from someone on here...if anyone is selling them...

if you have money for them, then get it...and if you want to install them yourself, i'll help ya out

eehhh...install isn't too bad. if the tick continues, overtime, it'll slowly get louder and worse. and then the lifter is bound for death. if ya need help, let me know

Its pretty loud, but after the car has been running for 10minutes it isnt so bad. . Ya I need help lol are you in utah?
