35r, few questions/want some advice

alright well i figured im going to go with a 35r. im going to go with the buschur or ams kit. my current mods are:
BC 272's
10.5 hotside

ARP headstuds
cometic headgasket
megan manifold
AMS TBE w/ no cat
turboxs FMIC
AMS LICP
Injen UICP + intake
JDM MR BOV
buschur 680cc injectors
ebay O2 housing
turbologic MBC @ 24psi
walboro 255
75 shot of nitrous
tein s-techs
powerflex motor mounts
custom tuned on 100 octane

obviously im going to go with bigger injectors etc (1000's). now im going to be sticking with the stock ecu, would this be trouble as far as tuning goes? ive seen quite a few people running 35r's on the stock ecu with no problems. also, what about running the 35r with the stock maf? is that going to throw some red flags somewhere?

as far as the nitrous, would this be ok if i stuck with it running on this turbo? if its gonna be a problem im just going to get rid of it and just run on turbo. what kind of #'s do people see on just running a 35r by itself?

fuel will stay the same @ 100 oct

you wont have a problem with stock ECu... i would get rid of the nitrous...

the stock MAF would become a restriction if your car is a full track cay... if you want to still daily the car then keep it..

if its a straight track car get the most with an EMS...

With 100oct. tune you should be able to run 26-28 psi and youll be fine with an 880cc inj. Get a good tune and ask the tuner about spraying. On the stock block and ecu I would say no as youll make great power just with the 35r alone. Good luck.

alright.. yea getting rid of the nitrous isnt a problem as i would probably just switch to meth instead.. but most likely i would run just on the 35r alone and see what it could do.

the car is not daily driven, but its not a track car either

If you've been running nitrous and are planning to upgrade the turbo to a 35R, then I would at least do studs and rod bolts. Actually, if it was mine I'd be paranoid and would go to a bullet proof , blueprinted shortblock and upgraded valvetrain. I wouldn't trust a motor that has been on nitrous to hold together at the high revs and increased cylinder pressures which the 35R equipped motor will be seeing. Of course that's just me and I'm an old foggie.

I had about the same set up as you..... minus the NOS...I put down 452 WHP at 30 psi on a mustang....am going saturday on a DYNO with inlarged lower IC pipe the TURBO XS pip from the intercooler to the turbo is small so I had it enlarged since the mustang dyno....I am hoping to lay 500WHP on the DYNO or close.............Here is a link of my install and dyno sheets on a Buschur 35r...
