Boost Question!!
Hey guys I wasn't sure wheather to put this in the Newbie section or here..so if it's in the wrong section..feel free to move it!!
I don't really study to many cars..and the Evo is the first car that i began to like with a turbo and actually studied it techincal wise!! The car amazes me more everyday! But i have a question...
The car makes 19psi at 3500..and 16.54 psi at 6500? Well most cars make power all the way to redline.. and boost usually doesn't drop untill you let of the gas right? Basically what i'm wondering is, how can the boost drop of like that? Is it the wastegate that allows the car to drop off the boost? My friend is basically insisted that.. it basically means Mitsu sort of restricted the car!!
For all you lazy people out there...(like me..lol) if you don't want to read all that... my question is.. How and why does the Boost cut of at 6500?
