Whats wrong with my clutch?!

as title states i think something is wrong with my clutch. the engauge ment point is WAY out its about 3 inches from it being all the way out..

I know bad way of describing it my car is newly bought in june of 06 has 13.7k miles on and i dont take it to the track or race. Does the engaugement point need to be moved or is the clutch going bad? Any advice would be great its kinda freakin me out that one time the clutch one engauge at all any suggestions on where to take my car would be nice to...

I am new to the manual car and have never had to have my clutch looked at I live in the LA area so any suggestions on that would be nice also

I'm guessing it has changed from when you first got it correct? If not all clutches all clutches take up at different points nothing to worry about.

I see that you don't have experience with manuals. This IS NOT the car to learn to drive a manual with as you are going to learn. Good luck.

sorry i didnt clear that up i have experience with manual just this is my first manual car i have driven manual cars for work ect for 3 years is their any way to lower the engaugement point to like midway?

anyone? when i first got it the clutch was way out like that also not as far maby 1/2 to 1 inch further in
