Exclamation ATT. Ultimate Racing-Custom 3.0 02 housing electronic exhaust dump

Been trying to get a Hold of Darrel at Ultimate Racing but he is not getting my info, as some may know he builts an electronic exhuaust with a 3.0 dump tube. Basically it is a custom 3.0 downpipe that bolts on to the stock 02 housing, then makes a 90 degree turn off the down pipe and then becomes parrallel to the cat, and dumps there. That design is flawed and does not flow the best, but still works as good as any full exhaust.

He is My plan, got it off Cheesfrog, amazing design and total sleeper.

You can make a 3.0 02 housing, not even a down pipe, and have it electronically dump through a 3.0 pipe off a 3.0 hole in the 02 housing. The pipe will snake it's way down to exit out the bottom of the car, pointing down
to keep the stuff off the car.

I told you about this guy CHEESEFROG, he has a Civic hatch, with a BUILT LS
block, making about 500WHP, running 10's. Not bad, uses a dump like I just
mentioned.

here is one link to a pick

or

see how it dumps RIGHT off the turbo, and then goes to the stock exhaust? The
Stock exhaust is the secondary unit, the Dump is the prime flow.

Here is an even BETTER pick, just awesome work, I want exactly this, can you do
it?

and another pick, if you built it, they will come.

and the best one yet, such an easy design when you think about it.

AS you can see, the smaler pipe goes to tHe stock DX exhaust, whch is like 1.5 inches at best. Of course the Stock Evo sender will have to be as good as stock, the dump must be 3.0, and you have to continue the dump tube out the car, maybe underneith, maybe out the side wheel well. This done right will make the most power of any system.
so what can you do for me?

Please don't drag civic tuners into the EVO world.

Shouldn't be hard to make for someone experienced. I'd buy one.

Ist off, that CIVIC would own any car on this board, it runs 10's at 130+MPH, so you would need an R1 just to keep up. ALSO the only thing Honda in my pics is the actual LS block, all is custom turbo and built internals and head, this is about turbo theory and it should work on any turbo car.

The DUMP allows you to dump all the gas right off the turbo immediately. Since the best exhaust for a turbo car is No exhaust, this is optimal. But with a flip of a switch, it goes back to stock, so it is stealth. I want one.

SVT Breal, I talked to Ultimate racing already, and I also know of the unit you just posted, it is flawwed, plus the one you have shown is for an S2000.

1st look at the dump, it goes off at a 90 degree elboe and then dumbs, not exactly a direct route. The unit also leaks, as they cannot get it to fully close.

The unit I want will have a 3.0 o2 housing and dump right off teh 02 through a 3.0 pipe into the street or somewhere.

if u can/kno someone who can weld, it's not the most difficult project in the world...

and the civic wouldn't even keep up with a r1. and yes it's great that it runs 10's, and it's just a turbo ls-vtec, not the greatest thing out there...

Ok ok your civic is running 10's EVO's are running 9's. They don't need your exhaust dump to run 9's.

so you have to open and close this dump? wouldnt this be illegal for street type competetive events such as autox or drag racing where a full exhaust is needed? (of course if no one new than you wouldnt get caught, but im just saying)

y not just make an exhaust that comes right off the turbo with a 3 inch borla muffler or what have you and just end it right there? like how some american muscle cars have - muffler right on the end of the header and an elbow aiming the gas towards the floor?

Almost all electric cut outs leak. That's why hardly anyone uses them. If someone knows of one that doesn't leak, I'd like to know.

i've spoken to darryl at ultimate. even he told me they leak. you can't really expect it to seal 100%. i don't think they're making it right now because of the amount it leaks.

That's right guys. Unfortunately, we are not manufacturing these right now. They DO leak a little more than we'd like. and boostedmike's right, with this type of setup, you have to expect it to leak. Right now it just leaks a bit too much. The product DOES work well, that piece we have on our site is a prototype we made for a turbocharged Integra. Of course an Evo VIII and WRX model would be different.

Sorry guys.
