Turbo differences?

Is the buschur gt35 turbo kit any different then the ams turbo kit? I got the ams tbe because i like the sound, but if the turbos are pretty much the same im gonna go with buschur because its not as pricey. The other question is do i need a different downpipe cuz i heard ams doesnt align to buschur stuff.

buschur doesnt use the same type manifold... you will get a new DP with the ams turbo kit anyway. If you get the buschur kit, you will need to reflange their downpipe to fit your exhaust

Well depending on how money is for me around christmas, i might lean towards gsc s1 cams, evo green turbo, and a tune by CBRD, then i wont need all the other little money eating things and good power too be a 11 second maybe

even a 35r is not going to put you at 500whp on pump gas. Pump gas with meth/alky or race gas yes. Hell yeah though you cant go wrong with Chad working on your car.

edited cause I forgot a period

the only issues ive heard with those kits is that they spool later than other kits and may not be worth the money.... the green and meth will yield you 450 on a good tune and supporting mods

look at my sig .... anything in there aside from sun auto and electronic boost controller... if you have all of that already, then you have a good shot with meth, a green and a good tune...

the evo green really comes alive with meth... but honestly.... not a ton of difference. Now with meth, it makes the stock turbo seem like the STI turbo lol

Buschur also has a kit with a tubular manifold which comes with a new downpipe for about 3,900 which is still cheaper than the AMS kit.
