Best to build the bottom end, it will give you reliability and piece of mind (I wish I would have done that, I would have saved about $4k and a month without my Evo). One more thing take your time and figure out what you want so you don't have to buy stuff twice! Good luck!

Having a cheap daily is never a bad idea...even if just to prevent the Sunday night rush to get everything put back together to make it to work in the morning

Seriously though, if you'd like some suggestions as to a package that will meet your goals and come in under the budget you've set, don't hesitate to give us a call. I'll be happy to discuss the options in detail and help you build an EVO that will put an ear-to-ear smile on your face every time you drive it

All of you guys are missing out on his first initial post and question. He said he wants this car to be a DD and only use pump gas. Any turbo over a 30r is dreadful to drive as a DD.

My suggestions:

-Buschur 3065 turbo kit
-Built head
-FMIC and piping
-Fuel kit
-Aem EMS

That should take up all that money. I would suggest a 2.3 or 2.4 also but that is out of the price range. I assume if you can dump 11k in a car at one time then you can afford that little but more.

I would hope that anyone guaranteed $11k would treat a customer well

True customer service in my eyes is before, during and after the sale regardless of the size of the customer's pocket book. I pride myself in answering any and all questions whether the budget is $250 or $25,000. I welcome the opportunity to go over options with anyone to help select the best possible package for any goal whether or not you use that information to place an order with ETS.

The worst possible end result would be spending an amount that should truly leave you so excited about the driving experience that your hands are shaking every time you drive your EVO, and ending up with something that leaves you regretting any of your purchases. Make sure you do your research and get exactly what you want the first time as has been posted, there isn't better advice to be given!

Depends if you want a street car or drag car.

-Built 2.3L
-Injectors
-AEM EMS
-GT35R for the street, GT37R for the strip.
-Meth Injection
-HKS 280 Cams

And you should have a little left over... especially if you buy from individuals/used.

Buschur 35R - 2800
Injectors/fuel pump - 450
AEM EMS - 1550
Cams - 600
FMIC - 500 - 1000 depending on which one you get
Tune - 800-900?

Or just go with a bb 50 trim kit...they make around 420whp on pump and it would be way more fun than a 35R on the street!
