Which DV/BOV?

Ok so Im going to Buschurs shop on Friday! I am about to start modding my 03 Evo, below is the mods that im planning! I am wondering which BOV or DV is the best! I know this has been beat around, but ive heard pros and cons to all of them! The Stage 1 mods are going on this weekend and I want to know which I should put with them! And can the HKS be mounted where the stock plastic DV is mounted or what do I need to go with it and my Stage 1 mods?

Stage 1
Buschur Racing Intake Filter Kit
Walbro Fuel Pump w/kit
Hallman Pro RX MBC
BOV/DV???

Stage 2
Buschur Racing 3” TBE bullet exhaust
BR Ported Header
10.5 mm Turbine Housing
02 housing

Stage 3
Buschur Racing Race FMIC
Buschur Racing Race LICP
Buschur Racing UICP
Buschur Racing MAF Pipe
K&N Breather Filter
Buschur Racing Mini Battery Kit

Stage 4
APR Head studs
GSC S1 268 Cams

Stage 5
AEM UEGO Wideband
Cooling Mist Injection Kit

When Needed
ACT HD 6 Puck Clutch
ACT Prolite Flywheel

So the 2 that Buschur sells are the:

Forge Direct Replacement BOV-- Heard Mellon is having tons of problems with the DD capabilities of this valve!

HKS Super Sequential BOV-- Many for and against this one...friend has it and loves it, others says it sucks!

Tial 50mm BOV--heard it not good if your nat making insane power!

I am kind of leaning torwards the HKS, but just want your opinions! The stock plastic has to go! And iv heard the Evo 9 dv is good but leaks just over 25 psi and I plan on running over 25 psi one I get everything installed so I want to get the best for overall that I can upfront so I dont have to buy twice! So out of the Forge, HKS and Tial, which is the best to add now and will work the best with all my mods? I dont want the on off switch feel mellon is dealing with with his Forge BOV right now! Thats the reason Im leaning torwards the HKS!

Thank You for all your help!

Run the JDM MR/IX DV. Its OEM and its metal and good for about 24-25psi. it has the best driveablity

The HKS is terrible. Please DONT waste your money

Oh your gonna run over 25psi. Well get the IX DV until then .........

i have the forge dv set up on my o3 VIII and i like it i guess. well its a good valve that holds lots of boost, but drivability compared to stock is a little bit differant. but if you are going to do all of those mods im sure u can handle it. you can prob find a used one for like 90 or 100 bucks. not a huge investment.
wish i had some more information for you, but thats all i have noticed. oh yeah and the forge comes with differant spring rates so u can change depending on how much boost u actually run, and they make a huge differance

I use a Forge DV and I'm very happy with it. Holds boost real well. It is very sensitive, but I can easily re-learn how to drive my evo.

Thanks for your help, I ended up ordering the APS Twin Vent. Never heard of it before till I found a post on it and then searched and found nothing but good things about it!

even with the different springs its tough to find the right spring for "easy" daily driving.

I had to re-learn as well but its still a PITA when your car feels like it hit a brick wall if you take your foot off the gas.

I have the Forge as well and I don't have the partial throttle let off any more. I put in the red spring and the problems were 95% solved.

Search if you want more opinions. This subject has been covered at least 20 times.

You clearly haven't and thus you should either do a search or speak directly to Buschur.

If you dont plan to run high boost for a while you will like the APS. I ran it for about a year and drove same as stock.

I have the Forge RS, with the adjustment knob. No flutter except a little at very high speed (90 MPH+) AND RPM if I gradually let of to partial throttle.

i have the forge recirc w/ the 3 springs..and I am having mad issues w/ it right now. I can not get that thing to work right for me. might be the fact that its way to sensitive for me and seems to not want to hold boost for me past 15psi when Im suppose to hit 23psi..... im switching the metal DV from the 9...im thinking that might be better for me.
