What mods does it take to run 112+ mph in the 1/4 with an Evo?
I'm interested in possibly buying an Evo because of its combination of great performance, good fuel economy (relative to a V8 vehicle), great handling and, as a father of 2, good utility (ie, 4 doors).
I'm wondering what sort of modifications and $$$ would need to be invested in an Evo to get its straight line acceleration on pump gas comparable to my 95 Camaro, which runs 112-113 mph in the 1/4 (12.2 ET) with ported heads, emissions legal cam and headers. Has anyone accomplished this without race gas or internal modifications?
Thanks,
Rich

yes u can very ezily with the evo.... getting to 12.2 wont b too hard.... its all depends on how u want to go about it... the simplest but most expensive way would of course be a turbo upgrade.... if not... there are MANY MANY different ways to make this baby hit low 12z
