60 ft 1.840
330 5.512
1/8 7.897
mph 89.61
1000 10.241
1/4 12.223
mph 112.83

thanks guys oh yea my car is tuned on pump gas and i run 12.5 @112 on pump my car put down 344whp/349wtq on 25psi so somthing is wrong here i unplugged my wastgate to run max boost on race gas and not picking up any mph the car does not even feel faster. please help thank you

well, obviously something is not right. Why dont you dyno on race gas to see if there is a difference at all?

So you're running on wastgate only or boost controller?

You drop that 60' down to a 1.6 and it's a high 11 second run.

evo 8 or 9?

I have to wonder if 34psi is just too much hot air, it might do better at 30psi with more timing.

has the car been tuned for race gas or did you dump in race fuel and try to run the pump gas tune?

34 psi is pretty high. It's prob slowing you down.Make sure you have a race gas map.

+1...This also happened to me a while ago. I wasnt tuned for race gas....I turned the boost up and went slower each run after i turned to back down a lil and kept getting faster and faster.

because ur not tuned and its probably getting knock lol running that much boost you need to tune for it. like they also said its just blowing hot air. stock turbo is way out of its efficiency range at that boost

Im thinking he means 34 psi of tire pressure

Other than that everything looks fine. A better launch and your in the 11's.

as others said probably its the racegas and your tune. If you are not tuned for racegas the car will run worse than on pumpgas even with higher boost. And I think its even worse if you run 110 leaded or higher... The burn of these fuels iscompletely different than the unleaded ones...

You are almost definitely pulling alot of timing like that..Are you tuned for race gas?? It is likely that the load cells you are hitting at that boost level are not tuned for race gas nor high boost, if you even have the cells on your rom..I was hitting 112 in my 8 MR with only exhaust and tune so I think there is a tuning issue here, as well as you wanting to run max boost not being ideal.

no i have my rev lim raised to 8k so i am coming across the traps almost hitting the limiter. i dont have a o2 so maybe i sould try lowering my boost or you think a different race gas map would be the answere but on stock ecu cant you only have a pump gas map

You are lucky you didn't blow that thing up by thinking you could just go with max boost by putting in race gas - that was absolutely crazy. It's obvious you're knocking on the top end (if not through the whole run), because your trap is only 112 with a 12.2 on a weak 60'. You can't hit a 12.2 @ 112 with a 1.8+, so that means you're really trapping much higher but are losing it at the end due to knock.

Anyway, it's very simple. You get tuned for pump and race gas - keep both files - and load whichever one you want when necessary. Use the pump tune daily and flash in the race gas tune when racing. Just be sure to use the same octane mix each time.
