I was just at the dealer and they told me stock for an 05 is 17.5 to 15. I think I'm gonna be somewhat conservative have it tuned for 21 psi. Thanks for all your input, it was really helpful.

If you read the OP's concerns, they were clutch related.
The reason I ask is that I was curious as to what other people turned their boost up to without any problems to the clutch.
So the fact that I have a IX is irrellevant.

I have an 05, and it has about 23k on the stock clutch.
1.5 bar is normally about where its set. I actually turned it up more at the track and it knocked less. (I mean 1/4 turn on a mbc, maybe 1.6-1.7 bar)

And the stock clutch took 3-4 side steps from 4, and then 5k rpm SB. It just needs some time to cool in between runs. 20-25 minutes is best. I went 12.61 @110 on that stocker last night.

My guess would be if you keep your abuse to the track, and drive the car normally otherwise. The stock clutch hangs in there alot longer. (previous owner made 310 awhp on Buschurs mustang dyno, & he tracked the car a few times too. But drove it like a normal car other than that.)

If you are worried about the clutch lasting, do not drive the car.

If you have to drive the car, leave it stock. If not, it can go at any time.
