Um yeah 2step not working

I think it might be a sensor unpluged. i found under my dash a plug that has like 1 wire on it maybe 2.

But anyways, i tried to test the 2step because i wass just wondering what its set at and little to my suprise it went way past 6k so i backed off i was expecting it to hit at 5.5k where jestr set it.

and it was in first gear, and the clutch was pushed down as far as it could go. could the Ebrake have anything to do with it?

There is a white plug near the top of the clutch pedal that must be connected for the 2-step to engage.

Why 2 threads in 2 separate forums?

mine doesnt work either

I have an 05 GSR

when I got tuned they checked it out real quick, they said it was on, he reset it to like 4000 instead of 5500 still doesnt work

the nuetral safety switch is operational.

I'm thinking maybe a screwed up speed sensor? car thinks im not at 0mph

the previous owner said it just went away.

Slightly OT, but let me tell you from one 05 to another. And I don't know you're mods but I have a few & a tune. Set the SB back to 5000. You might as well not even set the car on the SB @ 4k. It will bog very... very bad. Mine was @ 4, and the car fell flat on its face.

I set it to 5k, barely slipped it and went 1.8 60ft 12.61 @110.
4k SB had me in the 13's from such a shi**y bog. Its pointless.
If you're on the stock clutch you'll have to really slip it out from 4k. And it will cook it. Luckily I had ecuflash & my laptop @ the track to fix it.

I've changed my own SB several times and its worked every single time.
GL fella's.

+10000

I set my ebrake most of the time to get it started, then drop it and go a few secs later. If the car is rolling even an inch the 2 step disengages.

That's odd ... sounds like something is up with whatever sensor lets the ECU know that the car is in gear.
