Did I Damage Anything?

I disconnected my intercooler hose that goes onto the throttle body. Well, evidently I did not tighten the clamp enough when I put it back on. As I was driving down the road I gave WOT and bang a loud noise. The car stalled and died. I had no idea what happened at first. I was only a short distance from where I live so I forced the engine to stay running by keeping my foot on the gas. The car would only crawl along at maybe 2 mph. I drove about 200 yards. Could I have damaged something by forcing the car to operate without any intake?

Thanks for your help.

It's happened to me too BUT by forcing the engine to run, you forced the throttle body to open. Something could have gotten sucked into the intake manifold. Glad you don't have any moth ***** under your hood .

But a t-bolt clamp on her and keep a few tools in your trunk to tighten them down so you don't have to do that next time.

When that happened to me the first time I thought there was a major issue with the engine but after popping the hood , I saw it was disconnected and I put it back on and have had no issues since.
