wondering if anyone knows the spec on the turbo that is in the evo 9 seen lots for 8's and past gens but not on the 9

dude you have an IX GSR not a grs!! who cares! you have a great turbo. Better than the VIII turbo. What do you want to know man?

 

You mean U.S.D.M. Evo IX, vs. U.S.D.M. VIII, rIght? There is a distinction between '03 VIII turbos and '04-'05 turbos.

But, hey! There is a great thread on here, started by Trinydex, which has all the cogent data, and then some. Hunt for it.

the info im looking for is max boost and cfm out out of the turbo can produce.

 

it is about 5% more efficient than the VIII turbo with 10.5 hotside, so add 5% to those numbers and you should be close.

 

and i can find those # where?

let me make it littel more simple

some ppl says that IX turbo has 20HP more then the VIII thats the average
i guess

and the have VIII Hotside is 9.8 and the IX hotside is 10,5 and there is a littel diffrent in the turbo to but am not gonna talk about it coz am not sure

 

if you have IX why are u asking about the VIII turbos?

IX is the best of all the EVos turbos (stock)
