Run non-synthetic for the 1st 600 miles?

I have not taken it easy on her either since I figured any damage fron an improper break-in was already done. I have driven the car to red line at wot most every time I take her out and have played around at 120 or so a few times. I realilze this is anecdotal but we are kind of pioneers with this car so every experience has at least some merit. These cars are just too much fun.

That sounds like the way I treated my NSX, 0 problems in 6 years. :-)
I would bet there is an additive to aid break-in. The new vettes come with synthetic from the factory also. Mine drank almost a quart in 4k miles, but I have driven the **** out of her. The oil wasn't black. Also, I checked the level when I got the car and it looked like it was overfilled a bit?
I have talked to many motor builders and they all say to run Dyno oil for brake in for the rings to seat. So when I peak up mine the first thing I will be doing is droping the oil in favor for Dyno for the first 5000 miles or so and then change back to Redline after brake in.
