I agree have you put in a new plug since all of this happened? Like sabastian said it could be the old plug.

Find a shop with a borescope, and you can find out quickly if there is anything in your cylinder without removing the head.

Something is in there banging around. See if your nozzle is still there. Best of luck

What kind of plugs are those? Did you install new plugs or reuse the old plugs?

Update: My friend and I pulled the head off to see if there was someting stuck on the valve or a somthing melted on the pistion. We found nothing. We even turned over the cams to expose the valves and didnt see anything either. We then put everthing back toghter and tapped the meth line to a new Nisei UICP and the car ran good unitl the damn spark plug became crushed once again. I did some other trouble shooting like changing plugs BPR8ES, coils and Injectors off my girls evo. The car ran awsome for like 10mile drive, but the problem happend again. The only thing I can think of is that there is something between the valve and valve guide that when the chamber get realy hot it get loose and starts to ping ponging aroung the chamber. Any help or Ideas guys would help me out alot at this point before I pull the head of again. Thanks

First of all right now, not before, is the plug getting smashed or nicked all over the place?

If it keeps getting smashed and doesn't appear like the original plug pics then you need to drop the sump and inspect the #1 rod bearing.

If plug does look like the original pic up there you need to get a strong vacuum and suck out whatever is in there (make sure the #1 isn't at compression stroke or you wont be able to suck it out)

Well, you pulled the head off and nothing was in there. Have you checked compression again?

Have you tore open the oil filter?

Pulling the sump and inspecting the rod bearing is easy and also the best way to spot fragments at the bottom

The ticking could be a lifter from oil pressure problems from contamination f=rom the first event

what was the problem... my plug looks exactly like the plug on page 1... im doing a compression test tonight..and probally pulling the head...the car runs and idles decent.. but once u give it a little throttle, especially with a load the car misses and backfires and runs like ****.. i drained the oil and no signs of fuel, savings, or anything of the sort.. maybe a valve failure im thinking.. maybe some debris is in the cylinder bouncing around on the piston and hitting the plug...causing the chips and the plug to get crushed down...
