just wondering if i need injectors for my evo 9 cam install with the following mods
aem intake
megan heatwrapped exhaust manifold
megan o2 housing
megan 3inch turbo back
hallman mbc
turbo xs fmic
ams licp
turbosmart bov
act clutch
act flywheel
walbro 255
i was going to do meth injection but im going to use this as my daily driver and i dont wanna do something dumb like forget that i have meth lol.
well i sold the meth kit and now im doing the following
ams uicp
hks 272 mivec camshafts

as the only mods i have for fuel enhancment are a tune and a walbro 255.
Now my question . Is that enough fuel for cams? or do i need injectors too? if so wut cc?

There is no need for injectors at this point
When and if you change the turbo is a good time to go with a set of injectors which match the power level of the turbo

It really all depends upon the Injector duty cycle percentage.
When my car was dynoed last year it made only 371whp on
a dynojet and the OEM injectors where at 105% IDC,which
is not good for overall fuel system performance when safety
and reliability is concerned. So check with your reputable tuner
and decide on the smallest size injectors for your application
I'd probably say that 680,750 or 780's would be sufficent
and then scale down the injectors accordingly. Most people here are
running either the FIC or the PTE brand injectors.

I'd suggest logging IDC and see for yourself. I'm still on stock injectors, but as you can see from the log below, they are maxed out.
I leaned out the top slightly, but I still would rather not be over 90% IDC at ALL.
Mods: ETS 3" Intake - #60 Pill - Helix TBE - Walbro FP - Nisei LICP - AGP FMIC - 25 psi (20psi at redline)
I purchased some PTE 780's, as I will be getting an FP Green next summer.

Before you take anyone's word for granted, I'd do like the member above mentioned and find out what your current injector duty cycle is at. You can find out what the IDC from whomever tuned the car last, they can just plug into your data port. I'm not sure what octane is available in Maryland, but for your set up in California, you'd need a set of injectors by now. When I had just a turbo back, cams, and meth, it was not an issue, but when the meth was taken out, and I dropped in a pump and boost controller, I was out of injectors.
