Exedy twin...kinda problem..

just installed my exedy twin ... still in break in period..
once i stop its hard to get into 1st gear..i have to push it hard and force it in...sometimes it even hard to get into any gear..
this only happens when i am at full stop...once the car is rolling...everything is nice, smooth and perfect..

any insights?

thanks

Did you adjust your clutch (pedal) like the manual says after doing a clutch install?

Also, what flywheel did you use? A new one, resurfaced the old one, or did nothing?

Adjust your clutch pedal just a little more out. Mine is only showing 1 thread remaining... I even adjusted it out to showing 0 threads the other day but just made things a little worse. Trust me, 1 threads makes a whole lot of difference.

adjusting the clutch peddle out means more threads are showing, not less. You've started numerous threads about how your clutch went from great to troublesome. You should figure your issues out before offering advice, don't you think?

mine is broken in. its really annoying. The only difference is mine is near impossible when cold but gets a little better as it warms up. I have moved the adjustment around so much i dont know what to try next.

Look guy, you are flat out wrong.

Adjusting the clutch pedal out, turning the rod clockwise shows less threads. And my threads are opposite. They went from bad to getting better, just not perfect like im wanting yet.

Dont you love it when someone thinks 'they got you'.
