Problem with idling on a hill??

All:

Today I was on my hill in front of my apartment complex and I had to give it a little gas to get over a speed bump. When I let off the gas, the idling went all the way down to below 500 rpms and then stalled and quit. After that I tried to start it on the hill and it wouldn't start. I rolled it down the hill a little bit to level ground and started it up. The check engine light is on. I have no idea what's wrong with it. It appears to only do that on an incline???

I have a full tank of gas. I do have the EVO 9 BOV. Car drives fine.

What code was thrown? My guess P0300 misfire. A lot of EVOs have the described idle problems, but not restarting is another issue.
