thats exactly what it is. if you notice it will only do it when the clutch is cold. is the cearmic material on the clutch disc making contact with the metal on the intermediate plate and FW. Eventually, when everything is broken in after several thousand miles or if you get the two surfaces hot enough the noise will go away.
