white smoke

no boost and white smoke with a noise sounding like a paper clip in a tin can. someone help!!!!!

Could be your turbo.My brother used to have a 92 TT 3000 GT and the car was running like junk,barely boosting,and getting white smoke.Turned out it was the turbos going out.

Check Valve seals I say if white smoke is coming out of exhaust or it could be a head gasket.

take off the intake, and check the condition of your turbo, sounds like your turbo is shot, another posibility head gasket, but it does makes noise which makes no sense to be a head gasket.

I think it's clear here that his turbo is shot. To get a better idea, do what tweakdsm stated, take off your intake and do a visual inspection.

yea i think its definately your turbo!! The tin can sound it tha turbo blades hitting the housing

a better idea would to find where exactly the noise is coming from, if its coming from the turbo then obviously ^ there is your answer, I agree with checking out the blades of the turbo
