Can someone help ASAP

hey guys my sisters got an evo VIII and her clutch went completely bad she only has 3000 miles on the car. Mitsu wouldnt replace it to we took it to a local performance shop to get a stage 2 clutch put in. Well no one knows how to get the transfer case off the car. Weve called every dealership in south florida and even in Jamaica. If ne one has changed a clut please help us out. Thanks

This doesn't answer the question, but how did she burn the clutch at only 3000 miles?

i believe to get the transfer case off you need a slide hammer

the clutches are weak and she launched it to many times and she also tried to do a burn out

techinfo has extended the free trail. The full manual is posted there. But they need to hurry, I think the free trial is up on the 14th of this month. The dealer had to have a "special" mitsubishi tool to pull my tranny.

call Auto Moto Sports at 1-847-709-0530, they changed my clutch, pressure plate and flywheel when i blew it.

yeh its a red evo rollin around in pines its got a huge sticker on the front.....yeh she tried to do a burn out on pines on the way to the races and ever since then the cars been messed up

I think the slide hammer is necesay to get the output shaft out of the transaxle.

You need to drop pretty much the entire front end to do a clutch replacement. Someone else had a topic on this where all sorts of **** needed to be taken off to do it. Your in for some expensive maintenance.

we already got everything off we just need to get the transfer case off. its gonna cost about 1000 cuz we happen to be friends wit the owner of the performance shop. its just that the cars been there since monday and been out of commision for over a week now. so were tryin to help him figure out what to do
