Exhaust Choices

So i've been looking at three different exhaust systems:
1.)AMS 3" Turboback w/ Test Pipe
2.)Tanabe Concept G Blue Turboback
3.)Buschur Racing Bullet Turboback w/ Test pipe

Now, I'm not trying to start a flame war here... But I wanted to know how they stack up.

Could anyone order them in HP gains, Weight, Loudness.
I've listened to the Exhausts, and I do like the sounds of these three.

And finally, while i'm underneath the car, should I do a O2 housing? Or is that a waste of money for the resulting gains, if any? If so, whose O2 housing?

Thanks a lot, and again, I'd appreciate respectful responses, I don't want to pick a fight here.

Dave

If you're going to stay with the stock turbo then upgrading the O2 housing is pretty good investment. Not that much in HP gain but the response is much better.

However, I hope you know that changing out the O2 housing isn't a simple task. Getting to the bolt behind the turbo near the block is a PTA. It's not as simple as changing out the exhaust.

More than likely all 3 of them are going ot net about the same gain.

I have the tanabe one, mellon has the br one and there was maybe just a few hp difference in the 2.

See my sig for track sound clips of both of our exhuasts.

my personal preference of those three:

1. Buschur Racing TBE w/ O2 housing
2. AMS TBE
3. Tanabe Concept.

The O2 housing makes a big difference and it's a great hp per dollar gain. Buschur's parts have been proven to deliver power; proven both on the dyno and the track.

I Have a complete 3" exhaust w/a Magnaflow test pipe & Magnaflow muffler and a Tanabe 2.75" DP for sale. I paid $600 + shipping, I'll sell it for $300+ shipping if anyones interested. I'm selling it because I moved up to a 3.5" exhaust which sounds great!

If these are the only exhausts you want, then go w/ the BR TBE w/ magnaflow muffler. I had this and it sounds and flows amazingly well. I went to a bigger catback section, but still have the downpipe on still. In cabin noise is minimal to none and it sounds amazing at WOT w/ no cat too.

I have the AMS with the HFC. Love it. Great fit and finish. I would also look into the Kartboy hangars. With a 3 inch pipe and it being so close to the driveshaft I would get the two to hit sometimes but the Kartboy fixed that problem. Sound is perfect with the HFC. Not to loud but louder then stock.
