Note to newbs:

11mm of lift > 10.5mm of lift @ similar duration.

End lesson.

I also have a BR stage4 with cossies on my evo9. I put down 332whp 315wtq on Buschurs dyno at 21.5psi. Al could not turn up the boost more because of the low quality gas at the time of the dyno. who tuned your car?

I am sold on the Cosworth's also, your gains on BR dyno say everyting!!!

One last thing, how much boost were you running on that 344whp tune???
These are excellent cams, the quality is second to none. We use these cams in our TT EVO IX also with similar dyno results. Just FYI our dyno is with in 1-2 WHP/TQ of BR's. Since we are less than an hour away we have customers that have been on both dyno's.

Cheers!
I think he already has, check out his Sig -

StreetThisEvo -
11.56 @ 118.81 mph
Buschur Racing - Stage 4 - Stock Turbo - Pump Gas

Although this is a bit deceiving, the run was done on a mix of 114 and 93 if I remember correctly.

anyone know if this 118 mph was done stretching out the valvetrain rpm in 4th?

or is that def shifting in to 5th on the evo 9.

what rpms are attainable with upgraded valve srpings and retainers?

My 11.56 @ 118.81 mph run was done with a Buschwacker transmission w/ Evo 8 fourth gear installed.

On the stock Evo 9 fourth gear I was trapping at 117 mph at almost 8000 rpm.

idk, i really do want to believe that the cosworth make a solid 30whp, im just having such a hard time believing it....

its liek the green turbo... it was marketed to run 10's.... and there are what 5 people doing it and they all have aem and all kinds of extra garbage int he car...

it would have been cheaper to get a 3065r kit for 3k and stick with the stock ecu and run 10's on pump gas.....

I know what you mean. not to knock the green, but every fast car is basically a member of the bushur camp. They are all from around there and go on his dyno and I'm sure they all tweak their setup constantly to get every last MPH out of it.

With that being said, its still pretty impressive.

Yeah, not suprised to see these results as the cosi's have more effective duration @1mm on the intake side than any other cam available for the evo 9 currently. Based on that I went with them and never looked back!

I'm not 100% sure honestly. I'd say around 7500 rpm or so. I do know that if I tag out 4th @ 8000 rpm I hit 130 mph.
