Thumbs down Tranny reinstall help: cant get up into bay

So long story short i blew my 5 spd and ended up getting a great deal on a 6 spd with conversion parts for my 03. Got new clutch and flywheel put in but i cannot get the correcct angle to get the tranny back in for the life of me! Is there some secret im not aware of besides dropping the whole steering rack and all? The 6 spd is physically bigger and heavier than the 5 spd or id be able to give it one good shot at muscling it up but its just too big and hits somthing all the time... i dont have any mounts attached right now or anything externally to try and gain room to assist with reinstallation. Im using a 6 ton lo pro floor jack to get it up but i cant seem to get it to go up, its like i need the rear xfer case side to go up first to get it resting on the crossmember then get the front up or somthing. I am going on like 5 hours of sleep right now and gave up for the night but hope to hear some great tips from others that have done this my way so i can get this done in the morning. Thanks guys

-Ryan

I cant help you any, but I dont care what kind of deal you got on the six speed I would of stuck with the 5 speed. I hope you are not replacing the six speed tranny soon due to a broken 4th gear.

the shift levers love to hit. Its a real pain in the *** compared to a 5 spd...as usual its best to get the back of the tranny up and in first(move the motor as far forward as you can do allow room for the TC shafts). Then just carefully rotate it to get the levers to clear, without bending them, as they are weak and puny.
