Try loosening up the engine mounts and move the engine forward a little bit. You also might want to invest in a real transmission jack, trying to balance a heavy *** AWD tranny on a little floor jack is just plain ridiculous, and is seriously unsafe. If all else fails, remove the shift levers or drop the sub frame, or just pull the entire motor and drop the the engine and tranny in together as one piece. Good luck!
