Is it a stock clutch or aftermarket?

Mine did that too when I first bought it, and with it that high it never seemed to want to shift smoothly either, especially after driving the car for a while. It got really notchy feeling, and you almost had to yank it out of gear. I adjusted the rod a bit and now it disengages semi-normal and shifts smooth as butter.

I've got the exact same problem. It happened out of nowhere...atleast I can't remember it 'slowly' getting worse or anything.

+1 to that problem. I thought it was normal that the clutch dis/en gages that high. Are you guys also getting like first gear "slightest grind" from neutral even before you engage the clutch. It happens when you shift into gear. I get that like once in a while and it happens more often when my a/c is turned on.
