Clutch question
My friend has minor mods, possibly more in the near future, or not. Which clutch should he use, daily driver, more fun than not when driving it, also needs to last a long time. Any info would be great.

What kind of mods/power does he have? Is it mainly a DD or does he track it a good amount? What's his budget?
An ACT single disc will last a good bit of time on a mildly modded street car w/ once in a while track time....add a decent amount of track time and it'll get eaten up reasonably quick. If that's the case, an Exedy or Tilton twin disc is a good solution. Add power and you'll have the same results.

Not to throw stones but the ACT will hold up to track time.
200+ drag passes and some 300 miles on road courses here, plus 50k miles here.

Its all in how you drive. Crappy driving skills (shifting/launching) will kill any clutch no matter the price.

Im getting my ACT clutch put in as we speak, but i have drive with it before and ive dealt with the Cusco carbon clutch in evos. Both great clutches, but if i had the money i would have gone with the Cusco!
Incredibly smooth engagement for such a beefy clutch!
