no boost! help!
ok..so i finished installing my ported manifold, O2 Housing, and 10.5 hotside...took the car for a test drive and i wasn't hitting any boost...it boosts a little up to 5-6 psi but the car's almost red line on 3rd/4th gear...what could be the problem? i've turned my mbc up to full boost and still nothing...any help?

Sounds like a boost leak somewhere...
And since you cranked the MBC, I strongly suggest turning it all the way DOWN, and when you start boosting 10.5psi (stock wastegate pressure) then you know you found the leak and you can safely turn the MBC back up

i checked everything and looks like everything's hooked up...although earlier when i was putting it back together..after i clamped the hotside/o2 housing to the turbine, and tried to put the manifold in, the 2 weren't alined so i had to force them together to line up...would that be a possibility that i screwed something up when i was clamping the hotside in? is it normal the manifold and the hotside don't line up right away when you put them back together?

this guy's post on the how to thread says something about the actuator, what exactly does he mean?
"Just got done installing my header and O2 housing. I have the Invidia. Very nice piece but I just want to mention that the size of the Invidia O2 housing REQUIRES taking the hotside off the turbo. We thought we were going to be able to do it quick and dirty since I was changing the manifold anyway but the size of the Inivida housing makes it impossible to even get the bolts and nuts back on with everything in place. Fortunately taking off the hotside sounds difficult but is really quite easy. Just make sure you bolt down your wastegate actuator before you go on a test drive and wonder why you're making almost no boost
Just to save some people some headaches.

that would be a yummy *** boost leak lol..
seriously though..1ST!! do like ShamelessCookie said and turn the boost way down, to stock wastegate pressure (10.5psi)
..check for hotside leaks cause they should line up, the ic piping make sure its flush and snug..then go from there..should do it..

feels like there's a bit of lag...but it pulls better when it does. won't be able to make it tomorrow though man...there's quite a few who've asked me too. the wife already made commitments for tomorrow.
at least your wife will ride with you in your evo. Mine's pregnant and she refuses to ride in my evo. We had a wedding earlier today and I drove HER DAD in my evo and she rode with her mom. As I was getting onto the highway a CL550 with Brabus badging flew past me at well over 100 mph and I wanted to say hi but I had her dad with me and he was already grabbing at the door handles at the speed limit.
