Flywheel inspection cover
Alright, so I bought my Evo used with 60k on it. I'm about 99% sure the clutch is not the original. I'm not sure if the current clutch is factory or aftermarket. If I pull the flywheel inspection cover, am I going to be able see the pressure plate to confirm whether or not my clutch is stock or aftermarket?
I've had the flywheel inspection cover off my Mirage in order to drop my oil pan, but I never looked close to see if my pressure plate was viewable...
The clutch feels very strong with no slippage. I'd hate to buy a new clutch and then tear everything apart and find out the clutch was replaced just before I bought it, OR go ahead and assume it's a fresh clutch and roast it once I start making serious power...
