Walbro 255 Fuel pump

I've been seeing a lot of people with minor mods to major mods running this part. Can someone educate me on what justifies someone to purchase this part. I am wondering if I need it now.....lol

If you are going to be boosting more than stock boost it never hurts to have the fuel pump to make sure that the engine is getting enough fuel.

It seems the oem one overheats easily, and i believe already working at it's max capacity. The upgrade comes recommended as the first few mods by many tuners. If you do it, make sure to get a tune, b/c the car will surely run richer.

If I'm running 272 cams, walbro 255 fuel pump, stock turbo at higher PSI and my cars been tuned and ecu reflashed.

Do I need 720cc injectors? Or is that overkill? And when does someone need 720cc injectors?

Fuel pump is not a necessity but rather a supporting mod for the stuff you have now. I would get a tune because after I installed mine, my car would shoot fireballs and burned part of my back bumper. My AFRs were below 10.1.
