Wow, thats so impressive ... we are running bigger fuel pumps, but using stock injectors.

The ET's say it all, 10's from a Green, I can't believe it ...

We are doing something wrong down here ...

Green should have 680's with meth injection and 780's without, minimum.

In Norcal the mod list seems to be for an 8, -> cams, fuel pump, 780cc injectors, O2 housing, Turbo back exhaust, intake, MBC or modified boost pill setup, FPgreen, toss in 100 octane, tune on stock computer, and mid to high 11's on a full interior, street tire Evo.

Indeed with race gas boost. My 720cc's are close to maxed out on 100oct on a FPGreen.

We've also used Nittor 555R drag radials in 245/45 17's. Had several 1.6x 60's with those. Launch is stock ecu 2-step. If traction proves to be intermittent (like Norwalk was), I actually RAISE the 2 step, since I think wheel spin does less damage and can be more consistent than letting the engine bog, then spin, then bog. I had 2 step at 7200 for Norwalk on the last 4 runs. During Competition it was at 6949.
Ignition retard on launch I assume? No retard, normal progression in load/rpm range. I DO log the launch path through the rpms/load cells and have been a little more aggressive than most probably. But then again, we're using Import so we can get away with it. As far as peak torque, I'm currently at 15 degrees timing at 4000. Rev limit is set to 8300, but QTP's are 26.1", so when we use those, we won't hit 8000 in the traps. Rev limit timing is 28 - 29 degrees. Hope that helps. Don't ask for my maps to be posted though. You got more than I've usually given. Just trying to help those in their quest.
Thanks for putting out so much info. Very nice. I was just curious about whether you used ignition retard with the launch control so did not mean to pry too much in your tuning.

It's funny we're talking about tuning being so critical because I'd been told and do believe to some extent doing a race gas tune is A LOT easier than a pump gas tune. Just because on something like VP Import the gas is so good you pretty much will never det.

We must have different air downunder....

Best I've seen from a EVO Green, 98RON, Exhaust, Intake, Cams, PowerFC - is 253Kw @ the Wheels.

Is there something missing here, Race GAS, NOS ... what other things are you guys doing to these cars ... is the 1/4 mile stretch shorter in the states ???
The Turbo is a Jewel. The best 20G in history.
Don't be so worry, man. Crank the boost, add good fuel, and tune it. Let it rip.
You will make power.
24 psi is nice, but is not going to do it. Pump it up, .

34-36 psi of boost?!! Holy **** batman!! Where did you get that mis-information?

That is not correct. I do not know what OKIX is running as I don't think he has a boost gauge and I showed him the respect of not being nosey when he was at the shop and on the dyno. I didn't use the wideband or the boost input, I just dyno'd the car to see what the power level was.

I can tell you for sure, my car and dadriva's were not at 34 psi when we ran 10's. I'd guess the absolute peak boost either of us saw at anytime would have been around 32 and that is on a shift and then falls.

At DSM/EVO shootout, we only logged 28 psi. We were accidentally turned down. Miscounted on the 'turn up' the day before and we ran that way. When I reviewed the logs, I was shocked at the performance and where the boost was set. As far as the car and Buschur Racing, there is NOTHING related to the car that I don't want David to help me with. It started it's life at Buschur Racing and will continue to be a Buschur Racing car. I appreciate the respect, but like I said in Wakeman, the car is yours as far as we're concerned. We just get to drive and tune it.

35psi 487whp green car

Dave I could've sworn i read somewhere that your rs was on a 34psi - settle to 28 @ redline. Maybe i'm wrong. I try not to post misinformation but I was under the assumption these cars were on very high spike to settle 30.
