best shortshifter???

im looking to get a shortshifter for my 05 evo 8, i was wondering what is the best brand for the performance

don't do it man they break in two if you drive like me i dont kno how true this one is but i have had a few customers that run them and they say it improves the notchiy shifting we already are dealing with.

perrin.. u have no idea as to how short the shifts are in this.. i never wanted it but went for it anyways man the dif was wow.. never expeted the shifter to be that good ..

B&M adjustable to 45% shorter throw. Once you drive one and then go back to the stock one you will ask yourself "how come this feels like I am driving a School Bus"?

go with the perrin. 4 months and still going strong. Set at 50% shorter throw, i love it.

Personally, I like the stock shift lever the best on an Evo. The feel is quite good.

Short shifters are rice. All they do is make the car harder to shift.

I read somewhere that short shifters reduce the life of the tranny...not exponentially, but reduce it nonetheless. You should maybe get bushings first and see, before you get a ss kit.
