Clutch/Flywheel weight combos...compared to

The Exedy/Cusco Twin Discs?

I was wondering, how much does the stock clutch/flywheel assembly, or the ACT MB7-XTSS clutch kit and prolite flywheel combo weigh?

How much does the exedy/Cusco Twin disc clutch/flywheel assembly weigh?

You really don't want the ACT mate, I'll tell you right now it's junk! Even Jon at TRE says so... They should weigh in about the same though, the Exedy and Cusco since they both use 200mm discs instead of the 240mm disc the stock one uses. I believe they came in under 20lbs? I think the stock one was about 25 to 28lbs?

My Exedy twin was 2.2 lbs less than my half used stock clutch and flywheel.

I think you're better off with the Exedy, the Cusco is equivilent to the Exedy SD in clamp force but does give you the feature for the disc leveler mechanism.
