It's not so much the head you have to worry about unless you plan on reving past 7,500, it is the stock block. There are many evo owners making over 500whp on the stock block. This is the "benchmark" of safety, although some blocks will last, some will not.

ETS has a nice kit, along with the other big players like AMS or buschur. If you want one of the nicest kits in my opinion look at the full race kit. Ive always liked there turbo kits. Personal preference on that one though because they cost alot.

hmmm... well I don't plan on going over 500 whp or reving past 7500 rpms. So we'll see how long I can go without blowing something up K thanks again! [/endhijack]

Haha, Tom and the others left HPF and are now known as ETS. The kit that I am running is their 61mm T3 version of the more commonly known GT35R but has slightly different specs. They also have the T4 version of the GT35R but this is definitely not the one that you would want to run on pump gas. But yes, that is a very good kit. www.extremeturbosystems.com You can start there.

Many people are having lots of succes with the 57trim offered by ETS. SickSilverNLow will be on shortly to give his input on this particular turbo. It has stock like spool, gives lots more on the topend, and offers a great overall powerband with lots of area under the curve. ETS has many variations of the 50trim, one of which, will be the most suitable for your goals. Hopefully the electricians took care of the tree situation over there Washington state Tom will take care of you promptly.

take a look at mynes performance. They are known but not to many people have there stuff. I think they sell beautiful kits in any turbo you want from 30R, 35R,40R,42R and the main reason i like them is because you can get them Top Mount and in a Twin Scroll Configuration. That is the way to go im just saving up myself and then ill be calling them.

Why not look into a GT3076 or something similar? We have installed a few of the bottom-mount 3076 with the .63 hotside and it works quite well.
