Titanium catback heatwrap

Can I heatwrap my titanium Greddy Ti-R exhaust or will it crack?
Has anyone tried it?

because of very high temps? titanium is supposed to retain more heat as a material. i am not sure though this is why i am asking.

You can wrap it, it will be fine, but nobody really bothers wrapping their catback.

If your going to wrap anything do the downpipe.

He speaks the truth. Unless you absolutely MUST have your entire exhaust looking like a mummy, wrapping the downpipe (+ test pipe if you roll like that) is about as far as you need to go.

wrap the downpipe to keep the radiant heat off the oil pan and keep your engine bay cooler. No need to wrap the cat back, actually you want the exhaust to cool as much as possible to reduce volumetric flow through the pipe and the associated pressure drop.
