wth is this smell

Edited-----------------------------------problem resolved---------------------------------------------------------------------

I never had this smell before my rrm t28 kit, but when I been on the throttle, afterwards a strange smell kicks in, i know wat a burned serpentine belt smells like, but this is strange.

When I looked underneath this points I saw oily residue on top of my bottom mud guard or w.e its called. I tightened bolts and clamps yesterday and I still noticed it today.

Cause-------------

my tranny fluid was leaking and blew back onto my heatwrap when i drove, thus soaking a part of my heatwrap, so whenever i am at a light or parked i can smell it cuz its burning the oil on the heatwrap. the heatwrap was burnt to a crisp, imean the wrap flaked out like ashes, so problem solved, just gotta rewrap the part i took off.

Can you provide me with a sniff, I could then tell you.

Put it in a jar and then PM for my mailing address.

Lol but I agree, asking someone what a smell is over the internet is like asking what someone looks like over the phone, it just doesn't work well. It could be burning oil, burning plastic, coolant, evil gnomes, etc.

You mentioned the belt smell...so is this new smell like that? Rubber-ish? Any rubber near or around the manifold?

u know i think burnt coolant smells a little metalike. I have a turbo and i smelled weird things sometimes it took me forever to figure out what the smell was. But it was a coolant line to my turbo leaking onto the turbo itself.

I have the same problem. After I hit I smell & see something like fumes (atleast that's what I think). I know that I have a leak where O2 bung is connected with downpipe.
