Burning Smell From Heater?
This morning I turned the heater on and it gave out this burning scent. It wasn't consistent and this is the first time it has happened. I use my heater regularly. I turned it on when the car was half warmed up and was driving under 2K RPM. It's defo. not my clutch because it was a different smell. Smelled almost like burning food or paper.
Edit: It's not my brakes either since I wasn't hard braking at all.

This may sound a bit nasty but it happened to me when I was deployed and I left my father-in-law the evo. A mice nest found itself in my engine bay and somehow down to my cabin filter. The damn things were eating the cabin filter so when I replaced it, about 1/3 of it was gone. My father in law said he had a weird smell when he had it and my money was on that.
Moral of the story, go check your cabin filter and see if you got something cooking in there.
